Cultural Activities with Your Course
Your Spanish for Beginners course comes with
two free cultural activities per week such as guided tours
through Seville’s most interesting places, dancing classes,
Spanish cooking and wine-drinking, as well as movies, get-togethers,
and social outings.
These activities take place every week, normally on Tuesdays
and Thursdays:
· Guided tours
through Seville, one of the most walkable cities in Europe.
Take a walk with your peers, accompanied by a teacher, through
the most popular and historical areas of the city, like the
famous barrio de Santa Cruz and the just as famous Triana.
It is not a typical "tourist visit"—we show
you the city from our local perspective.
· Dance. Our dance teachers are professionals
that will show you the basic steps to start dancing to the
Latin and flamenco beats.
· Cooking classes. You can make with
your own hands, and under the supervision of your teacher,
a delicious Gazpacho Andaluz or refreshing Sangría
that we will have together. We will also teach you about the
history of Sherry wine, and how to tell the difference between
different varieties with a fun tasting session.
· Film club. You will see some of
the most famous Spanish films every Monday, Wednesday, and
Friday. Your teacher, a real expert in Spanish Film, will
give you some information about the director and actors in
the movie, and after seeing it, you can do some practical
exercises in Spanish. This way you will reinforce your Spanish
learning at the same time as you see a great film.
